Since opening my own law firm in 1989, my practice has been approximately 70% matrimonial and family law. Earlier in my career, I had experience in a general practice, always with a family law concentration. The focus of my practice is to emphasize the need for negotiation and positive interaction leading to mutual agreement rather than litigation. To this end I have completed professional mediation training and collaborative law training. Since 1996, I have acted as a private mediator in a number of matrimonial and family matters, including both complete divorce mediation services and mediation of individual issues.
